One camper for ourselves, ten countries in two weeks, and a workshop full of conversions ever since.
In 2014 we tried to purchase a quality camper without breaking the bank and quickly realised that was not a realistic option, later that year our first Vauxhall Movano / Renault Master hit the road.
Built from a low mileage van, we installed two beds, toilet, shower, Smev sink and hob unit, Heki roof vents, Seitz windows, Dometic fridge and hit the road!
Two weeks and 10 countries later, we returned to the UK, but not before receiving plenty of admiring looks and positive comments…….our journey into vehicle conversions had begun!
Popular upgrades we fit to customer vehicles alongside our full conversions.
Elevating roofs are a great way to add space, light and even an additional bed to your camper.
We supply and high quality roofs for VW Transporters, Transit Custom, Mercedes Vito and many other popular models.
We supply, install and upholster vehicle seats, Rock & Roll beds and our own furniture.
This popular product provides a versatile system for fitting many types of awning to your van.
Whether you need to tow a trailer or simply add a large cycle carrier for the families bikes, a tow bar is useful addition.
The leisure vehicle market has grown massively over recent years; many of us are now enjoying the freedom of travel in our own private secure space without the stress of traditional package holidays and complicated travel arrangements…….needless to say that COVID restrictions and concerns have only increased this desire.
Regardless of whether you are hitting the road for the summer as you explore France, Italy and beyond, or simply heading 10 miles from home to get away from the daily chores and spend quality time with family and friends, JMS can produce a vehicle that ticks your boxes!
We are the first to admit we are not alone; there are many camper / motorhome manufacturers and conversion companies to choose from! Many of these well known names offer a variety of readymade vehicles and templates to choose from, however our specialist team and bespoke design service provides you with complete flexibility of layout, equipment and features that meet your needs and budget.
The JMS team are equally happy completing a simple repair in a 20 year old VW T4 or building five star luxury in a brand new race transporter lorry, so why not contact us today to discuss your future plans……….it may cost less than you think for JMS to make your dreams a reality!
The lovely chaps from JMS helped me out with repairing my T5 electric roof with new sensors just before my trip around Scotland on the North500. A genuine bunch who did an amazing job, and at a very honest price. I would not hesitate to recommend and use them again. We were very very grateful for their assistance, especially at such short notice. Lovely people, exceptional workmanship, and a pleasure to deal with. Thank you

Colin Corke21 March 2025 Verified by Trustindex · source GoogleLook no further! These chaps are a real find and I recommend them, without reservation, following the work they have carried out on my motorhome. They have an excellent ‘bedside manner’ and kept me updated throughout the work. All very reassuring. The work was all completed to a high standard and I will certainly be using them again.

bov14 February 2025 Verified by Trustindex · source GoogleWe were looking for a company to modify our previously partially and unprofessionally converted van into a functional and beautiful camper van.
From first contact to the completion of the work on the van, JMS Vehicle Conversions Ltd were flawless. They took exceptional care in understanding our needs, and their communications were clear and prompt at every step. They provided a comprehensive quote that included various options aligned with our budget. Furthermore, JMS meticulously assessed our van, rectifying previous substandard alterations to ensure safety and functionality.
The team is friendly and very professional. Their level of service and workmanship has exceeded our expectations. We now have an upgraded camper van to the specifications we wanted, and we are very happy.
If you are looking for a vehicle conversion, whether fully or partially, we would highly recommend them. Thank you so much to Mark and the rest of the team for the fantastic work you have done on our van.
JMS made some great amendments to my existing conversion. I had storage space, but it wasn’t easily accessible. After discussing options with Mark, we came up with ideas of how to make better use of the available space. The work was carried out to a high standard and on time. I am happy with the service and would definitely use them for converting my next van.
